Leucidal® Liquid is a natural, broad-spectrum antimicrobial preservative derived from radishes fermented with Leuconostoc kimchii, a lactic acid bacteria traditionally used in kimchi. This fermentation process yields a peptide with potent antibacterial properties, offering an effective alternative to synthetic preservatives in cosmetic formulations. Leucidal® Liquid is Whole Foods Acceptable and ECOCert Approved for use in Certified Organic products.

Formulation Tips

  • Usage Level: 2.0% - 4.0%
  • Formula pH Compatibility: Best suited for formulations with a pH between 3 and 8 (loses efficacy above pH 9).
  • Application: Add during the cool-down phase of formulation. Shake well before use.

Storage

  • Store in a sealed container away from sunlight.
  • Do not freeze. Store at or near room temperature.
  • Product may sediment over time; mix well before use. If exposed to cold temperatures, gently warm to 45-50°C and mix until normal consistency returns.
