 Appearance: Clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid

 Suggested Uses: Suitable for use in shampoos, conditioners, lotions, creams, shower gels, and other similar products. It is particularly well-suited for use in products that are water-based or contain a high percentage of water, as it provides effective protection against the growth of bacteria, yeasts, and molds.

Recommended Usage: 1-3% in the final product formulation.

Solubility: Phenoxyethanol is soluble in both water and alcohol, while Caprylyl Glycol is soluble in both water and oil. Sorbic Acid has low solubility in water.


Recommended pH range: Most effective at a pH below 6. Adjust the pH of the formulation to less than 6 before adding the preservative system.

 Directions for use: Add at the end of the formulation process after the product has cooled to prevent degradation of the preservative system. If there are solids in the formulation, gently heat at 40°C to 50°C.

 Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat. Keep the product tightly sealed when not in use to prevent contamination. It is recommended that the preservative be stored at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C.
