Unlike a lot of matcha fragrances that smell grassy, earthy, or like fresh matcha powder, this one is much creamier.
The bergamot and black tea stand out first. The tea note feels warm and comforting, almost like the smell that fills the room when a fresh cup of tea is brewing. As it settles, the milky notes and vanilla start coming through and give it a soft, creamy sweetness.
This isn't a sharp green tea fragrance, and it doesn't smell very powdery either. As it dries down, it gets warm, creamy, and slightly earthy. The patchouli is definitely there, but it doesn't take over the fragrance. It sits underneath the vanilla, amber, and musk and gives the scent a little more depth. Overall, it smells more like a milky vanilla gourmand with black tea and patchouli than a traditional matcha fragrance.
